e flat minor recordings was formed out of a desire to offer a top quality recording service to choirs, ensemble groups and soloists.

The company was started by a group of musicians and recording engineers who wanted to bring together their skills to best effect. A recording is not just an audible or visual copy of a performance, it is a lasting memory or commercial product to be sold. As such therefore quality is always of paramount importance.

At e flat minor we use the very latest in recording techniques and equipment to produce high quality recordings whether live or session recordings at locations around the world. We use the very latest recording equipment some of which we have had custom made for our purposes which gives us the highest possible sound recording currently obtainable.

All our staff have many years experience in their respective fields which puts us in a very strong position to create stunning recordings which will stand the test of time.

From the outset, the company has tried to achieve a balance between the purest recording techniques, much loved by many in classical music, and the realities of making high quality live and session recordings on location around the world. 

Basic recording techniques have remained largely unchanged for 50 years. However technology is always changing and being updated so e flat minor use only the very latest equipment to produce high bit-rate stereo and surround recordings suitable for production not only as audio CDs but also as DVD-Audio discs and SACDs. 

In addition we also produce audio for the internet where file size becomes an important issue so we use professional MP3 and WMA coding software to produce the highest possible quality from these compressed formats.
